Teaching Assistant Year 4

I have been working at Grinling Gibbons Primary School for nearly nine years and have enjoyed all my years working here. I take great pride in reinforcing the schools ethos, aiming to inspire all individuals. Working in this school has given me the opportunity to work with all year groups, which has boosted my confidence.

My role is to help the children with their learning and motivate them to achieve their targets, and it gives me great satisfaction to know that I am part of the children’s learning journey, and a valued member of staff.

Additional Responsibilities

I have been working at Grinling Gibbons Primary School since 2012 and have loved every minute of it. I enjoy leading Modern Foreign Languages and Design and Technology as this allows me to become more involved with all children’s learning within the school.

Nothing beats ‘hands on’ experience when working with children. The more you work with children, the more you can appreciate their individuality – and this is something that continues to develop year after year. There is never a dull moment in the classroom, as each child’s personality shines through whatever they are learning.

I love working with children which is what inspired me to become a teacher, and I especially love how proud I become of each class at the end of the year, knowing how much they have developed and matured, and that I have contributed to their growth.
