PE

At Grinling Gibbons, we believe that physical education is a vital part of every child’s development. Our high-quality P.E. curriculum inspires our children to succeed and excel in sports.
PE lessons are taught by a specialist sports coach, and we encourage all children to communicate and collaborate with each other, as well as develop an understanding of how to evaluate and recognize their own success. At Grinling Gibbons, children have the opportunity to learn these important skills through dance, gymnastics, athletics, football, basketball, cricket and many more sports and activities.

Clubs and extra-curricular opportunities

We offer a range of clubs and after-school activities to further expand the opportunities available to our children. Children can choose from the following sports clubs: Football, Cycling, Taekwondo and Multi-Sports.

The Daily Mile

Children from Reception to Year 6 take part in ‘The Daily Mile’, an exciting initiative which aims to improve the physical, emotional and social health of our children. It improves not only their fitness, but also their concentration levels, mood, behaviour and general well-being.
